Following adds this technology to your private workspace so related learning is easier to organise and revisit.

Technology explained

What is Elasticsearch?

Elasticsearch is a distributed search and analytics engine for indexing and querying document-oriented data. This profile connects the concept to KBY's practical engineering guidance.

It divides indices into shards distributed across a cluster and builds inverted indexes for fast text and structured searches. Mappings, shard sizing, lifecycle management, replicas and query design determine performance and operational stability.

Primary purpose

Search and analyse large volumes of structured and unstructured documents.
